This year’s event at the Woman’s Club of Evanston on May 15th from 6pm-9pm will include interactive experiences showcasing HECC program highlights and impact, a dining experience with ethnic cuisine from the many places we have called home, and the annual Impact Awards honoring individuals and organizations making a difference in the greater Rogers Park community.

The Awards categories are the following:

Visionary of the Year: Awarded to an individual who sees the potential for a better world and takes steps to get there. The recipient is a passionate risk-taker who inspires others for change.
HECC Spirit: Awarded to an individual who has accessed HECC programs and services to improve the quality of life for themselves, their family and/or their community. The recipient is recommended by HECC program staff.
Outstanding Community Partner: Awarded to a corporation, social service organization, faith-based institution or civic group that has made a significant contribution to the Rogers Park community and/or HACC. The recipient’s contribution could be through service, financial support, volunteerism, or advocacy.
Dedicated Service: Awarded to an individual, group, or institution that has a record of sustained support and involvement in advancing the mission of HACC. The recipient’s contribution should have a demonstrable impact on HECC and the participants we serve.
