HECC’s Adult Education program assists adult learners in improving their reading, writing, mathematics, English language acquisition, digital literacy, and other skills. We aim to help students obtain the literacy skills needed to successfully navigate the workforce, training programs, and post-secondary education, leading to self-sufficiency and productive lives. Teachers and tutors create learning environments where each person’s dignity, worth, and complexity are recognized and celebrated. Our core value is that learning is a lifelong journey, and we all have something to teach and learn from each other in a dynamic learning community.
