ROGERS PARK HAS THE FOURTH HIGHEST RATE OF HIV/AIDS INFECTION OUT OF CHICAGO’S NEIGHBORHOODS.

The HIV/AIDS programming at HECC works with community members to distribute information about HIV/AIDS through group and individual education and provides free HIV testing and health referrals.

HACC’s Community Health Workers attend local events and attend health fairs sharing their knowledge about HIV/AIDS and HECC services.

The program also distributes free condoms to populations that tend to experience higher rates of HIV/AIDS, such as People of Color, women, seniors, and cisgender men who have sex with cisgender men.

Howard and Evanston Community Center distributes information about HIV/AIDS and provides free HIV testing and health referrals.
